“NFL Icons” (Epix, 10 p.m.) begins its second season with a profile of the late broadcaster and coach John Madden. 

“Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.) treats a pit bull with a broken leg.

Before she goes off to Paris with a new husband, a woman she hears from her high school sweetheart on the made-for-TV romance “Marry Go Round” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) starring Amanda Schull and Brennan Elliott. 

On the made-for-TV thriller “House of Chains” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), six children of an authoritarian couple plan an escape,. Mean Suvari and Greyston Holt star.

“Moonfall” (HBO, 8 p.m.) the sci-fi drama with Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson and Kelly Yu, makes its premium cable debut. 

Jack Weston is featured in a pair of films on Turner Classic Movies with “The Thomas Crown Affair” (8 p.m.) and “Wait Until Dark” (10 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “Obsession” (midnight), followed by “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” (2 a.m.).

Baseball includes Cleveland at Minnesota (Fox, 7 p.m.) and San Francisco at Cubs (ESPN, 8 p.m.).

A big day of college football begins at noon with games that include Ohio at Penn State (ABC), Alabama at Texas (Fox), South Carolina at Arkansas (ESPN), Missouri at Kansas State (ESPN2), Duke at NorthWestern (Fox Sports 1), North Carolina at Georgia State (ESPNU), and UTSA at Army (CBS Sports).

Games at 3:30 p.m. include Tennessee at Pittsburgh (ABC), Washington State at Wisconsin (Fox), Colorado at Air Force (CBS), and Memphis at Navy (CBS Sports).

“Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is a rerun from November with Simu Liu hosting and Saweetie the musical guest.
