Metallica and Mariah Carey don’t often share a bill, but they do so tonight, co-headlining the 10th annual Global Citizen Live Concert (FX, 5p.m.; ABC, 7 p.m.), which isn’t exactly live; it was taped Saturday at New York’s Central Park in a show that also included Rosalía, Måneskin, the Jonas Brothers and Mickey Guyton.

Also on the broadcast are SZA, Stormzy, H.E.R. and Tens performing in Accra, Ghana. It’s all meant to encourage the UN General Assembly to invest in women, fight climate change and help African farmers respond to the global food crisis.

Mayim Bialik begins her role hosting the primetime “Celebrity Jeopardy!” (ABC, 8 p.m.) in his series premiere. It comes alongside the third season premiere of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

“The Rookie” (ABC, 10 p.m.) begins his fifth season face to face with a serial killer played by Annie Wersching. 

The Sunday night animation roster returns tonight with “The Simpsons” (Fox, 8 p.m.), back for season 34, “The Great North” (Fox, 8:30 p.m.), back for its third season, “Bob’s Burgers” (Fox, 9 p.m.) with its 13th season and “Family Guy” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.), back for its 21st. 

“Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.) ends its 24th season with a winner selected from the final three of Monte, Turner and Taylor. The top prize has been upped from $500,000 to $750,000; the award for those awarded “America’s Favorite Houseguest” will get $50,000, up from $25,000.
