Television is being overrun by vampires, the latest of which have to adhere to old vampire lore that says they can’t be invited into mortals’ homes without expressly being invited on “Let the Right One In” (Showtime, 10 p.m.), starring Demián Bichir, Madison Taylor Baez Anika Noni Rose and Grace Gummer.

Sunday Night Football has Cincinnati at Baltimore (NBC, 7:20 p.m.). Earlier games include the very early Giants vs. Green Bay (NFL, 8:30 a.m.) from London, as well as Tennessee at Washington (CBS, noon), Detroit at New England (Fox, noon), San Francisco at Carolina (3:05 p.m.) and Philadelphia at Arizona (Fox, 3:35 pm.), entering its 14th year.

“Secrets of the Dead” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) starts its 20th season looking at archeological finds at Althorp, where Diana Princess of Wales made her home. 

Faith Hill is a guest on the season premiere of “Be My Guest with Ina Garten” (Food, noon). 

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) begins a new season. 

Lisa joins the Boy Explorers on “The Simpsons” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“The Equalizer” (CBS, 8 p.m.) helps find a firefighter’s daughter who goes missing.
