Twelve days before Thanksgiving, there are four new Yuletide romances premiering. They are: “A Time Home Christmas” (UPtv, 7 p.m.) with Rebecca Dalton and Christopher Selvright; “A Merry Christmas Wish” (Great American Family, 8 p.m.) with Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison; “The Royal Nanny” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) with Rachel Skarsten and Dan Jeannotte, and “Reindeer Games Homecoming” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) with Sarah Drew and Justin Bruening.
Turner Classic series of films that shaped our culture continues with “The Snake Pit” (8 p.m.) and “Blackboard Jungle” (10 p.m.). The noir at 12 o’clock is “Tension” (midnight), followed by a couple of tinseltown gangster films, “Get Shorty” (2 a.m.) and “Crashing Hollywood” (4 a.m.). Earlier, the musical at noon is “42nd Street” (noon).
Basketball includes Houston at New Orleans (NBA, 8:30 p.m.).
Hockey has Ottawa at Philadelphia (NHL, 1 p.m.) and Pittsburgh at Montreal (NHL, 7 p.m.).
College football begins at noon with games that include Notre Dame vs. Navy (ABC), Missouri at Tennessee (CBS), Indiana at Ohio State (Fox), Liu at Arkansas (ESPN), Purdue at Illinois (ESPN2), Oklahoma at West Virginia (Fox Sports 1), SMU at South Florida (ESPNU) and Liberty at Connecticut (CBS Sports).
