A new VRC location readies its opening on “Pit Bulls & Parolees” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.).

Another five new Christmas titles debut tonight with “A Tale of Two Christmases” (Hallmark, 6 p.m.) with Kat Barrell and Chandler Massey; “Faith Heist: A Christmas Caper” (Bounce, 8 p.m.) is a sequel to last year’s “Faith Heist,” with Jonathan Langdon; “Haul Out the Holly” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) with Lacey Chabert; and “I’m Glad It’s Christmas” (Great American Family, 8 p.m.) with Jessica Lowndes, Paul Greene and Gladys Knight.; and “The 12 Days of Christmas Eve” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) starring Kelsey Grammar and his daughter Spencer Grammer. 

Turner Classic Movies’ series on films that shaped the culture continues with “An Inconvenient Truth” (8 p.m.) and “Boys Don’t Cry” (10:15 p.m.). The midnight noir is “Death of a Cyclist” (12:30 a.m.), followed by two New York stories from the 1980s, “Hannah and Her Sisters” (2:15 a.m.) and “Crossing Delancey” (4:15 a.m.). 

World Cup games today have Tunisia vs. Australia (Fox Sports 1, 5 a.m.), Poland vs. Saudi Arabia (Fox Sports 1, 8 a.m.), France vs. Denmark (Fox Sports 1, 11 a.m.) and Argentina vs. Mexico (Fox Sports 1, 2 p.m.). 

Basketball has Oklahoma City at Houston (NBA, 8 p.m.).

Hockey has Edmonton at Rangers (NHL, 1 p.m.) and Toronto at Pittsburgh (NHL, 7 p.m.).
