The new limited series “A Storm for Christmas” (Netflix, streaming) is about a group of strangers stranded at the Oslo airport before they can get to their Christmas destinations. 

“Acapulco” (Apple TV+, streaming) ends its second season; “Shantaram” (Apple TV+, streaming) ends its first. 

Jon Oliver stops by for the third season finale of “The Amber Ruffin Show” (Peacock, streaming, 9 p.m.). 

Another new group of standup comics are lined up for the fifth season premiere of “LOL: Last One Laughing Mexico” (Amazon Prime, streaming).

A fourth season starts for the animated “Paradise PD” (Netflix, streaming).

“Dance Monsters” (Netflix, streaming) is a new competition for amateur hoofers, who disappear behind computer-generated avatars before a panel that includes Ne-Yo, Lele Pons and Ashley Banjo. 

Another new competition series “Cook at All Costs” (Netflix, streaming) premieres, hosted by Jordan Andino. The ploy here is that each contestant gets an amount of money and has to decide whether to spend it on expensive ingredients or save their money. 

If you haven’t already ben shopping enough this season here’s a new series “Storefront Stories” (Discovery+, streaming) showcasing retail spaces from across the country. 

“Kindness expert” Brad Montague gets his own special, “The Kindness Project” (Discovery+, streaming). 

Katie Button’s cooking show “From the Source” (Discovery+, streaming) returns for a third season.

“Le Pupille” (Disney+, streaming) is a live action short from Alice Rohrwacher with a Christmas theme.

Hey, it’s time for 90th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade (CW, 8 p.m.). Danny Trejo is this year’s grand marshal; parade hosts include Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain, Montel Williams and Elizabeth Stanton. 

A little less yelling than usual is expected on his special “Gordon Ramsay: Christmas Cookalong & Gordon’s Festive Home Cooking” (BritBox, streaming). 

“Young Rock” (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) reflects on past holiday gift-giving. 

Mayan tries to get her divorced parents to spend the holiday together on “Lopez vs. Lopez” (NBC, 8 p.m.). 

Cedric the Entertainer presents his favorite Christmas clips on “The Greatest #AtHome Videos” (CBS, 8 p.m.). 

“The First Noelle” (BET, 9 p.m.) concerns a woman who’s rankled that her ex has found a new girlfriend he’s introducing at Christmastime. Other new holiday films tonight include “The Housewives of the North Pole” (Bravo, 7 p.m.) and “A Christmas to Treasure” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). And “Holiday Heritage” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) throws in a little Kwanzaa.

Dana Bash profiles the New Hampshire governor in “Being…Chris Sununu” (CNN, 10 p.m.). 

“Gold Rush” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) sees Tony facing an engineering disaster. 

The crew from “We’re Here” (HBO, 10 p.m.) go to New Jersey for their next makeover project. 

“Dead for a Dollar” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) makes its premium cable debut. 

Justine meets her husband for the first time outside of prison on “Love After Lockup” (WEtv, 9 p.m.). 

Alton Walbrook is the star on Turner Classic Movies tonight in “The Red Shoes” (8 p.m.), “Gaslight” (10:30 p.m.) and “LaRonde” (12:15 a.m.). then comes the seasonal horror of “Silent Night, Deadly Night” (2 a.m.) followed by “The Oracle” (3:45 a.m.). 

During the day, the theme are ghosts and such with “Topper” (6 a.m.), “Blithe Spirit” (7:45 a.m.), “Here Comes Mr. Jordan” (9:30 a.m.), “Plague of Zombies” (11:15 a.m.), “Frankenstein 1970” (1 p.m.), “Isle of the Dead” (2:30 p.m.), “The Body Snatcher” (3:45 p.m.), “Frankenstein” (5:15 p.m.) and “Bride of Frankenstein” (6:30 p.m.).

College football bowl season begins with Miami, Ohio vs. UAB (ESPN, 12:30 p.m.) in the Hometown Lenders Bahamas Bowl, from Nassau, Bahamas. Also: UTSA vs. Troy (ESPN, 4 p.m.) in the Duluth Trading Cure Bowl. 

College basketball includes Xavier at Georgetown (Fox Sports 1, 6:30 p.m.) and Creighton at Marquette (Fox Sports 1, 8:30 p.m.).
