Should there even be a Golden Globe Awards (NBC, 8 p.m.)? It’s voted on by a shadowy group who have shunned diverse offerings, had some bribery scandals in its past and came up with some less than worthy winners. Last year, the networks refused to air it (and that’s not the first time that’s happened.).
But there are stars involved — from TV as well as film — and it used to be seen as kicking off the awards season.
