Samuel L. Jackson dons the eyepatch once more, returning as the Marvel character Nick Fury for the new series “Secret Invasion” (Disney+, streaming), bringing a number of his fellow movie cast members with him including Martin Freeman, Cobie Smulders and Ben Mendelsohn. Also appearing in the starry cast are Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman and Don Cheadle. 

The producers of “Chicago Fire” (NBC, 9 p.m.) are behind the reality series “LA Fire & Rescue” (NBC, 8 p.m.) which follows the Los Angeles County Fire Department as they cover 59 cities in the region from beach duties to wildfires to mountain rescues. The episodes of “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” (NBC, 10 p.m.) that follow are reruns. 

“The Stroll” (HBO, 9 p.m.) is a documentary looking at transgender women of color working the Meatpacking District in lower Manhattan in the 1990s. 

Problems in the healthcare system that disproportionally affect women is at the heart of the new documentary special “Below the Belt: The Last Health Taboo” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings). 

“Small Town Potential” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) is a new series scouring New York’s Hudson Valley for new customers for a design firm.
