She wasn’t at Wimbledon this time around, but a new documentary series “In the Arena: Serena Williams” (ESPN+, streaming) the tennis great will show where she’s been, and how she got there. 

Elsewhere, another sports documentary series focusses on the best catchers in football. “Receiver” (Netflix, streaming) follows Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Amon-Ray St. Brown. 

Though he’s been absent from his own late night show this week, Jimmy Kimmel returns to host a new season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

Shark Week continues with “Great White North” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.), “Expedition Unknown” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) and “Alien Sharks: Ghosts of Japan” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.). 

“Dynamic Planet” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) ends its run with a look at how indigenous groups adjust to disrupted climate.

A couple of the Jonas Brothers return to host the third season of the reality competition about relatives of famous people trying to hide their identities, “Claim to Fame” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) also begins a new season, though that price could bring some awful small digs.

The death of a rap star is dissected on “The Real CSI: Miami” (CBS, 9 p.m.). The case of a dead football player and his wife follows at 10. 

“MasterChef Generations” (Fox, 8 p.m.) have to use some old ingredients. 

Contestants have to pitch unusual kitchen gadgets on “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” (Fox, 9 p.m.).

The second season of “Reginald the Vampire” (Syfy, 10 p.m.) comes to an end. 

Gary forces Andi’s hand on “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.). 

On “Royal Rules of Ohio” (Freeform, 10:30 p.m.), Thelma throws a fitness summit. 

Captain Kidd, Blackbeard and Anne Bonny are profiled on consecutive episodes of “Pirates: Behind the Legends” (Nat Geo World, 8 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies continues its salute to director Roger Corman, who died in May at 98, ds films are again the basis of Turner Classic Movies’ programming tonight, with “House of Usher” (8 p.m.), “The Pit and the Pendulum” (9:30 p.m.), “The Raven” (11 p.m.), “The Masque of the Red Death” (12:45 a.m.), “Bloody Mama” (2:30 a.m.) and “The Wild Angels” (4:15 a.m.).

During the day, there’ll be stories of the ‘60s during the day on TCM with “Splendor in the Grass” (8:30 a.m.), “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (11 a.m.), “Up the Down Staircase” (1:30 p.m.), “Thank You Very Much” (4 p.m.).                                                       

Baseball includes Minnesota at White Sox (MLB, 2 p.m.) and Dodgers at Philadelphia (ESPN, 7 p.m.). 

WNBA action has Washington at Indiana (NBA, noon). 

NBA Summer League has Memphis at Oklahoma City (NBA, 7 p.m.), Miami at Los Angeles (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), Philadelphia at Utah (ESPN2, 9 p.m.) and Sacramento at Golden State (NBA, 10 p.m.).
