The ’90s singer opens her life in the two part documentary “Melissa Etheridge: I’m Not Broken” (Paramount+, streaming) in which she responds to losing her son to opioids but follows by using letters from a women’s prison in Kansas to create an original song about the cycle of addiction. 

The new documentary series “Sasha Reid and the Midnight Order” (Freeform, 10 p.m.) follows a criminologist and her all-female team using science and forensic science to solve cold cases. 

“The Boyfriend” (Netflix, streaming) is billed as Japan’s first same-sex reality series in which nine men look to find love. 

“Celebrity Family Feud” (ABC, 9 p.m.) begins its 10th primetime season where the celebs include Olympians, naturally, as well as Megan Thee Stallion and Ne-Yo. It’s preceded by a clip show of the mothership, “Family Feud: Decades of Laughs” (ABC, 8 p.m.), also starring Steve Harvey.

Whitney Thore returns for a new season of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” (TLC, 9 p.m.).

“VOCES” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) is back for its fifth season covering the Latino experience. 

Shark Week swims forward with the specials “Deadliest Bite” (Discovery, 8 p.m.), “6000 lb. Shark” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) and “Monster Hammerheads: Species X” (Discovery, 10 p.m.). 

“America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 8 p.m.) continues its auditions.
