From Jack Thorne, the writer of “Adolescence” (and the stage play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”), comes another dark tale of young life — a four-part adaptation of William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies” (Netflix, streaming), the famous tale of a group of school boys who crash land on a tropical island, where sinister survival instincts kick in.
The entertaining comedian competition “Funny AF with Kevin Hart” (Netflix, 9 p.m.) lets viewers vote in real time on tonight’s semifinal. The finale is Tuesday.
