The four-season French show biz comedy series ended five years ago with the closing of the talent agency where it was set. Now Camille Cottin, who plays an agent turned movie director, has to rely on her old workmates to make her first film in “Call My Agent! The Movie” (Netflix, streaming). Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, and Fanny Sidney all return for the fun and, as in the original series, there are a number of movie stars playing themselves, including George Clooney and a number of French stars.
A new teen series, “Crew Girl” (Netflix, streaming), stars Teagan Tao as a hopeful athlete who is uprooted from her L.A. home to move East where she worms her way onto the boys’ crew team. Jessica Paré of “Mad Men” plays her mom and the whole thing is shot in Canada.
The Dutch psychological thriller series “The Perfect Lie” (Netflix, streaming) concerns a family who moves to Bergen to join a group of wealthy friends, until a fire takes one home and some more sinister underpinnings appear.. It’s based on the novel “The Dinner Club” by Saskia Noort.
It was before the rise of amateur true crime sleuths and podcasters when a couple from a small Kansas town contacted New York Times investigative reporter Joe Sexton about a double murder that occurred in 2002, An ex-wife was charged but they were convinced she was innocent. Their determination led to a retrial, and then a third trial. And the reporter learned something about the nature of truth and true crime obsession. The three-part “A Killer Story” (HBO, 9 p.m.) is from Matthew Galkin.
“9/11 Remembered: 25 years Later” (CW, 9 p.m.) is a new special about the anniversary of the terror attack.

The Thursday night spotlight on Stanley Kubrick continues on Turner Classic Movies with “Spartacus” (8 p.m.), “Lolita” (11:30 p.m.) and “Dr. Strangelove” (2:15 a.m.). Then comes the 1926 “Metropolis” (4 a.m.).
