After gaining fans and Emmys for its run on Peacock, the stylish psychological reality competition set in a Scottish castle and hosted by Alan Cumming is finally making its bow on broadcast TV. The premiere of “The Traitors: New Blood” (NBC, 8 p.m.), unlike recent seasons, doesn’t depend on familiar faces or reality star retreads. Instead, it’s 22 Americans seeking the $250,000 prize. The first two episodes are followed by an episode of “The Voice” (NBC, 10 p.m.) that anticipates  the start of its 30th season on Monday.

“Traitors” plays opposite a live, two-hour “Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.) that  promises two evictions.

Ella Beatty gives a more glamorous look at the woman who legend said gave her mother 40 whacks (and her father 41) in the new eight-episode “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” (Netflix, streaming), from the makers of the “Monster” series that previously dramatized Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed Gein and the Menendez Brothers, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. So there’s a lot of blood and sexual tension.

More monsters? Here’s the final two episodes of “Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil” (A&E, 9 p.m.).

From Turkey comes the series “Not a Stranger” (Netflix, streaming), about a woman who hires the wrong nanny.

From Taiwan comes the crime drama “The Fixer” (Netflix, streaming), about a gangster who teams up with a political fixer.

From Japan, the series “Plastic Beauty” (Netflix, streaming) concerns a surgeon who joins a celebrity cosmic surgeon’s practice in hopes of exposing it.

A second season comes for the animated spin-off “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85” (Netflix, streaming).

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) return from their two group trips.

A mistake at work and a run for the homeowners’ association in a couple of episodes concludes the second season of the comedy “Adults” (FX, 9 p.m.).

“Hudson & Rex” (UPtv, 8 p.m.) are affected by a kidnapping.

The murder case of Dana Chandler takes another turn on “A Killer Story” (HBO, 9 p.m.).

“Engineering from Above” (History, 8 p.m.) looks down on sites in London and Singapore.

An influencer slips off a cliff while live-streaming on “Blue Skies” (UPtv, 9 p.m.).

The Thursday night Stanley Kubrick showcase on Turner Classic Movies continues with three great ones: “2001: A Space Odyssey” (8 p.m.), “A Clockwork Orange” (10:45 p.m.) and “Barry Lyndon” (1:15 a.m.).

During the day are films of director Richard Fleischer with “Arena” (6 a.m.), “Banjo” (7:30 a.m.), “Child of Divorce” (8:45 a.m.), “Bodyguard” (10 a.m.), “Trapped” (11:15 a.m.), “Follow Me Quietly” (12:45 p.m.), “Armored Car Robbery” (2 p.m.), “The Narrow Margin” (3:15 p.m.), “The Last Run” (4:30 p.m.), and “Soylent Green” (6:15 p.m.).

Baseball includes Dodgers at Cincinnati (MLB, 12:30 p.m.), Philadelphia at Mets (Fox, 7:15 p.m.) and Minnesota at Angels (MLB, 9:30 p.m.).

Thursday night football has Detroit at Buffalo (Prime Video, 8:15 p.m.)

College football has Syracuse at Pittsburgh (ESPN, 7:30 p.m.).

The WNBA returns from the FIBA World Cup Break with Los Angeles at Dallas (USA, 8 p.m.) and Las Vegas at Seattle (USA, CNBC, 10 p.m.).
