RadioCPRIt may have been the most frustrating Friday Night Rock yet, as I spent an hour trying to get the thing to broadcast, but it never did. When I realized it was streaming, however, I kept going anyway.

Besides, I brought all this music. Started with Ornette Coleman, who died Thursday at 85, in some of his early recording and backing Lou Reed on a track. Then a bunch of Elvis covers, and some music from artists who were in town recently — Paul Weller, Belle and Sebastian, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes — and some that are coming this week: Morrissey, Graham Parker and the Meat Puppets.

Played some Brian Wilson to tie in with the new bio movie on him, and marked John Linnell’s birthday with some of his state songs.
