big-bang-theory-season-12-episode-2-14The final episode of “The Big Bang Theory” (CBS, 8 p.m.) comes after 12 seasons and more than 275 episodes, making it the longest-running multi-camera (that is to say, studio audience) sit com in history.

Not that it will ever really go away, with all those reruns to show. Tonight’s end will be an hour, then there will be a half hour wave goodbye, “Unraveling the Mystery: A Big Bang Farewell” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.). In between is the season finale of the prequel of the comedy that will be returning, “Young Sheldon” (CBS, 9 p.m.). And then the cast gets the final exit interview on “Late Night with Stephen Colbert” (CBS, 11:35 p.m.).

There are quite a few other finales tonight.

She may be “Busy Tonight” (E!, 11 p.m.), but not tomorrow, as Busy Philipps’ chat show has been canceled.

Fog rolls in on the 15th season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC, 8 p.m.). “Station 19” (ABC, 9 p.m.) wraps its season fighting wildfires.

The great cable comedy “Better Things” (FX, 10 p.m.) closes its third season.

Court is adjourned forever in the cancelled legal drama “For the People” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

Returning after finales tonight are “S.W.A.T.” (CBS, 10 p.m.) and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (NBC, 10 p.m.).

In the new movie “Good Sam” (Netflix, streaming), Tiya Sircar plays a TV reporter trying to find who has been placing bags of cash at random people’s doorsteps.

Designers on “Project Runway” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) try to bring in social causes.

It’s harvest time on “The American Farm” (History, 10 p.m.).

Jordan visits the people trying to stop a pipeline on “Klepper” (Comedy Central, 1030 p.m.).

Adina seeks help on “Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger” (Freeform, 8 p.m.).

Angelina is brought in as an advisor on “Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny” (MTV, 8 p.m.).

“Paradise Hotel” (Fox, 8 p.m.) is pushing it with two episodes a week.

Jonah tries to sabotage an employee meting on the first of two episodes of “Superstore” (NBC, 8 p.m.).

On “iZombie” (CW, 8 p.m.), Liv and Ravi go undercover as dance partners.

Jake and Charles go after a serial killer on the first of two episodes of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (NBC, 9 p.m.).

Murphy’s worlds collide on “In the Dark” (CW, 9 p.m.).

It’s easy to make a TV series out of bad tattoos. The latest is “How Far is Tattoo Far?” (MTV, 9 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies’ spotlight on the WWII Homefront focuses on the war effort with “Hollywood Canteen” (8 p.m.), “Tender Comrade” (10:30 p.m.), “Millions Like Us” (12:30 a.m.), “Air Raid Wardens” (2:30 a.m.), “The War Against Mrs. Hadley” (3:45 a.m.) and “The Gentle Sex” (5:15 a.m.).  The day starts out with movies about really little people, “The Devil-Doll” (6 a.m.), “Attack of the Puppet People” (7:30 a.m.), “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad” (9 a.m.) and “Tom Thumb” (10:30 a.m.). Then there are dramas about pilots and drivers in “Absolute Quiet” (12:15 p.m.), “Wildcat Bus” (1:30 p.m.), “Daredevil Drivers” (2:45 p.m.), “Truck Busters” (4 p.m.), “Red Hot Tires” (5:15 p.m.) and “Violent Road” (6:30 p.m.).

Baseball includes Milwaukee at Philadelphia (MLB, 1 p.m.), Cubs at Cincinnati (MLB, 6:30 p.m.) and Pittsburgh at San Diego (MLB, 10 p.m.).

Golf has first round play in the PGA Championship (TNT, 1 p.m.).

Hockey’s IIHF world championships have France vs. Canada (NHL, 10 a.m.) and Finland vs. Denmark (NHL, 2 p.m.).

College baseball includes Arkansas at Texas A&M (ESPNU, 7 p.m.), Seton Hall at St. John’s (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.) and Long Beach State at Cal State Fullerton (ESPNU, 10 p.m.).

Cycling’s Tour of California (NBC Sports, 4 p.m.) goes to Stage 5.
