Just as we missed the Olympics this year, we are now missing the Paralympic Games. A documentary about the competition may fill that hole in “Rising Phoenix” (Netflix, streaming) about the rise of the sporting event after World War II to the global movement today. Among the athletes featured are Bebe Vio of Italy, Matt Stutzman and Tatyana McFadden of the U.S.; among its supporters seen is Prince Harry.

In the new movie “Ligua Franca” (Netflix, streaming), an undocumented trans Filipina woman who is a caretaker in Brooklyn seeks a U.S. green card. Writer-director Isabel Sandoval also stars.

The underrated “Corporate” (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) comes to an end after three seasons with a series finale.

An array of stars including Rita Moreno, Alfre Woodard, Sherri Shepherd, Jane Fonda, Connie Britton and Jennifer Garner are part of the hour-long variety special meant to nudge women back in the workplace, “Women in Film Presents: Make It Work!” (The CW, 8 p.m.).

The Republican National Convention (PBS, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, 8 p.m.; CSPAN, 8:30 p.m.; ABC, NBC, CBS, 10 p.m.) drags along, headlined tonight by addresses from Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Joni Ernst, Kellyanne Conway, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Lara Trump, and Reps. Dan Crenshaw, Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin.

The sitcom “United We Fall” (ABC, 8 p.m.) has its first season finale with a decision to renew vows.

Are we getting tired of real estate porn and the bratty agents who sell them? If not, here’s “Million Dollar Beach House” (Netflix, streaming), about the Hamptons.
