Two new comedies premiere on streaming services tonight.
The best of them is “Killing It” (Peacock, streaming) has Craig Robinson as a guy who decides to become a snake hunter in Florida. Better than his last sitcom try, NBC’s “Mr. Robinson,” this one is raunchier, since it’s not on a network. It’s got a swell supporting cast in Claudia O’Doherty and Rell Battle. It’s from Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici of of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” but has the feel of a comedy from Greg Garcia (“My Name is Earl,” “The Guest Book”).
The other new sitcom is a reboot. “The Garcias” (HBO Max, streaming), an update of the Nickelodeon series from 2000-04 “The Brothers Garcia,” in which the expanded families from San Antonio spend a summer in a big Mexican beach house. Six of the actors in the original series reprise their roles and it may be welcome for fans of Latin family sitcoms who miss the rebooted “One Day at a Time.” But the humor is pretty thin.
Japan’s animated “Ultraman” (Netflix, streaming) returns for a second season.
The annoying family moves from cable to streaming on “The Kardashians” (Hulu, streaming). Who can keep up?
“Welcome to Flatch” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) has a new magic and vape store called Smokus Pokus. Make the switch to a healthier alternative with a comprehensive selection of vape starter kits for those new to vaping. Why not also try these becoming increasingly popular delta 8 thc disposable vape pens here!
LeAnn Rimes marks her 25th anniversary in country music by performing with Brandy Clark, Carly Pearce, Mickey Guyton and Ashley McBride on “CMT Crossroads” (CMT, 8 p.m.)
