The new six-episode series “Anatomy of a Scandal” (Netflix, streaming) boasts a handsome cast, with Rupert Friend and Sienna White as a Parliament minister and his wife trying to survive a sexual scandal and trial over consent. Michelle Dockery plays the barrister going after him. David E. Kelly has a hand in the drama, based on the best-selling novel by Sarah vaughn. 

The anthology series “Roar” (Apple TV+, streaming) is comprised of eight stand-alone stories about women in a modern world, with an array of impressive stars including Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin. The first episode has Issa Rae as a writer flown to L.A. to discuss an adaptation of her best-seller, but once out there she has trouble being seen. 

Josh Brolin stars in the sci-fi-tinged Western “Outer Range” (Amazon Prime, streaming), about a Wyoming rancher who battles a void at the edge of his pasture. It also stars Will Patton, Imogen Boots and Lili Taylor. 

There are a couple of Earth Day-themed animated shows streaming. The first is a “Peanuts” related “It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown” (Apple TV+, streaming). The other is a special episode of “Stillwater” (Apple TV+, streaming).

The new thriller “Choose or Die” (Netflix, streaming), Iola Evans and Asa Butterfield play friends who who try to win unclaimed prize money by rebooting a 1980s video game. 

“Handcrafted Holes” (Discovery+, streaming) explores unique places to stay that reflect hometown flavors.

From Brazil comes the crime drama “Verdict” (Amazon Prime, streaming0 about a lawyer who takes on an unpopular case.
