Retro Report and “Frontline” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) look at the housing crisis and how it was affected by the pandemic on the new report “Facing Eviction,” interviewing tenants, landlords, lawyers, judges and the officers charged with carrying out evictions. 

Increasingly, competing on shows like “Survivor,” “Big Brother” and “Naked and Afraid” seems to be a step on a reality series career. In addition to shows like “The Challenge: USA” there is one called “Snake in the Grass” (NBC, 10 p.m.) in which past participants of such shows are dropped into a Central American jungle, not only surviving but trying to figure out the identity of a Snake who is undermining the group. Kind of like the old “The Mole.” The sneak preview today is on broadcast TV; the series begins Monday on cable’s USA Network.

“Street Food: USA” (Netflix, streaming) returns for a new season, looking into the offerings in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, New Orleans, Oahu and Miami. 

Shark Week gets goofy with “Impractical Impractical Jokers Shark Week Spectacular” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) that leads to “Jaws vs. Kraken” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) and “Pig vs. Shark” (Discovery, 10 p.m.). Bookending those are “Extinct or Alive: Jaws of Alaska” (Discovery, 7 p.m.) and “Raging Bulls” (Discovery, 10 p.m.). 

The disappearance of an Malaysia Airlines passenger flight in 2014 is explored in the two-hour special “MH370: Mystery of the Lost Flight” (History, 8 p.m.).
