Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Brittney Spencer and Lucius’ Jess Wolf all perform in the special “Austin City Limits Annual Hall of Fame Honors Sheryl Crow” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). Crow will also take the stage in the 8th annual event.

Already on TV as part of ABC’s “Big Sky,” the country star also stars in a new series of films portraying a rural traveling circuit judge in Nevada, “Reba McEntire’s The Hammer” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). Her costars include her real-life husband Rex Linn and her old “Reba” costar Melissa Peterman. 

The other made-for-TV movie tonight “The Wedding Veil Expectations” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) has Lacey Chabert and Kevin McGarry returning to the sequel, with Alison Sweeney and Author Reeser. 

An NFL game, Tennessee at Jacksonville (ABC, 8:15 p.m.), dominates broadcast prime time, which is otherwise reruns. Earlier, it’s Kansas City at Las Vegas (ABC, 4:30 p.m.).

“January 6” (CNN, 9 p.m.), the recent documentary from the French brothers who made “9/11,” makes its cable debut, two years and one day after the event. 

The latest new renovator with a TV series is Rico León, who helps families finish unfinished projects in  “Rico to the Rescue” (HGTV, 9 p.m.).

“The Menu” (HBO, 8 p.m.) the dark foodie satire with Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult, makes its premium cable premiere. Also new to premium cable is the action thriller “Panama” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) with Cole Hauser and Mel Gibson and Nicolas Cage as himself in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” (Starz, 9 p.m.).
