In lieu of an all-star game this year, the NHL is dividing its best players into teams with their fellow countrymen. The seven-game series in what they’re calling the 4 Nations Face-Off begins tonight with Canada vs. Sweden (TNT, truTV, 8 p.m.) in Montreal, Finland and the U.S. are the other two nations; games will also take place in Boston in the series that runs through Feb. 20.
Also on ice is the new five-part series about prospective figure skaters, “Harlem Ice” (Disney+, streaming).
“The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.) begins its 13th season of questionable celebrities behind elaborate costumes.
From France, comes the new comedy “Honeymoon Crasher” (Netflix, streaming), about a jilted fiancé who is forced to go on his planned honeymoon with his mother.
A good antedote for the current spate of wintery weather is the ninth season premiere of “Summer House” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).
“Nova” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) finds a long-lost cemetery in Egypt’s sacred desert.
A killer who attempts murdering a horse is sought on “Wild Cards” (CW, 8 p.m.).
“The Floor” (Fox, 9 p..m.) gets its time slot premiere after its post-Super Bowl showcase.
There are Valentine’s Day episodes of “Shifting Gears” (ABC, 8 p.m.) and “Abbott Elementary” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).
“Celebrity Jeopardy!” (ABC, 9 p.m.) is played by Susie Eassman, Blake Anderson and Robin Thede.
Bystanders face a drunk driver on “What Would You Do?” (ABC 10 p.m.). Other game shows tonight include “Hollywood Squares” (CBS, 8 p.m.), “The Price is Right” (CBS, 9 p.m.) and “Raid the Cage” (CBS, 10 p.m.).
“Inside the NFL” (CW, 9 p.m.) ends its season with a Super Bowl wrap up.
Danni receives bad news about her job on “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.).
“Nature” (PBS, 8 p.m.) travels to Antarctica to observe killer whales.
A snowstorm also hits “Diarra From the Detroit” (BET, 10 p.m.).
“Scam Goddess” (Freeform, 10 p.m.) finds a scam at the U.S. mint and it probably doesn’t involve pennies.
Sadly, it’s no longer necessary to go to Poland to find Nazis, but “Expedition X” (Discovery, 9 p.m.).
“Expedition Bigfoot” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) goes to a lot of trouble to be not finding Bigfoot again.
And the “citizen scientists” are taking over “UFOs: Investigating the Unknown” (National Geographic , 9 p.m.).
Oscar-worthy boxers are on Turner Classic Movies tonight with “The Champ” (8 p.m.), “The Fighter” (9:45 p.m.) and “Raging Bull” (midnight).
