Play ball! The new baseball season finally begins today with games that include Milwaukee at Yankees (ESPN, 3 p.m.) and Detroit at Dodgers (ESPN, 7 p.m.). 

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is down to its Sweet 16, with half the teams playing tonight: BYU vs. Alabama (CBS, 7 p.m.), Maryland vs. Florida (TBS, truTV, 7:30 p.m.), Arizona vs. Duke (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) and Aransas vs. Texas Tech (TBS, truTV, 10 p.m.). 

Michelle Buteau’s romantic comedy series “Survival of the Thickest” (Netflix, streaming) returns for its second season. 

“Doctor Odyssey” (ABC, 9 p.m.) has Sophisticated Ladies Week.

Meredith and Amelia prepare a funding proposal for Alzheimer’ss research on “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

“Soul of a Sister” (BET+, streaming) is a film about a singer trying to revive her career.

Chefs work on a five-course meal on “Next Level Chef” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

“Farmer Wants a Wife” (Fox, 9 p.m.) has each farmer select one woman to take back to their first farms for a first date. 

Maddie may have returned to work too soon on “9-1-1” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

“Crime Nation” (CW, 9 p.m.) ends its second season with the disappearance of a young artist.

Chefs must make dishes best served cold on “Top Chef” (Bravo, 9:30 p.m.). 

“Southern Charm” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) begins its season 10 reunion episodes. 

There’s a podcast swap on “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” (MTV, 8 p.m.). 

“The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.) is a made-for-TV drama about a teen thought killed who emerges at her own murder trial three years later. 

The story of Warren Jeffs is on “How I Escaped My Cult” (Freeform, 10 p.m.).

The new “Accused: Did I Do It?” (A&E, 10 p.m.) is the logical question after “Accused: Guilty or Innocent?” (A&E, 9 p.m.). 

Crime stories are on Turner Classic Movies tonight, with “The Thomas Crown Affair” (8 p.m.), “Gambit” (10 p.m.), “The Asphalt Jungle” (midnight), “5 Against the House” (2 a.m.) and “They Came to Rob Las Vegas” (3:30 a.m.).

Earlier, after the final batch of Barbara Stanwyck movies — “Annie Oakley” (6:45 a.m., “The Moonlighter” (8:30 a.m.) and “Trooper Hook” (10 a.m.) — there are some documentaries,  with “Black Panthers” (11:30 a.m.), “Hot Pepper” (noon), “Harlan County, U.S.A.” (1 p.m.), “Salesman” (3 p.m.), “Grey Gardens” (4:45 p.m.) and “The Queen” (6:30 p.m.). 

Basketball includes Dallas at Orlando (NBA, 7 p.m.).

Hockey has Washington at Minnesota (Hulu, 7:30 p.m.) and Los Angeles at Colorado (ESPN, 10 p.m.). 

The World Figure Skating Championships (USA, 8 p.m.) continue from Boston with the mixed pairs and free program. 

College hockey has Minnesota vs. Massachusetts (ESPN2, 8:30 p.m.). 

College baseball has Florida at Ole Miss (ESPNU, 8 p.m.).
