As slowly as it took to get going, this season’s “White Lotus” (HBO, 9 p.m.) has been entertaining on a number of fronts, from the poisoned family from North Carolina to the fractured girlfriends’ trio. A 90-minute finale tonight should reveal not only the killer, but who was killed. 

That will leave Walter Goggins in just one Sunday night series on the network, “The Righteous Gemstones” (HBO, 10:30 p.m.).

All of this pushes “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” (HBO, 11:10 p.m.) a little later than usual. 

Didn’t Elton John just say goodbye to performance? That was before he met and started collaborating with Brandi Carlile, most recently seen on last night’s “Saturday Night Live.” The two have recorded and album and have performed in a concert at London’s Palladium theater that was filmed for the special, “An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile” (CBS, 8 p.m.) 

The NCAA women’s basketball championship has UConn vs. South Carolina (ABC, 3 p.m.). 

“Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue” (MGM+, 9 p.m.) has its first season finale, as does “David Blaine Do Not Attempt” (National Geographic 9 p.m.), which seems like it only just started. That’s part of an illusionist’s skills: disappearing.

“When Hope Calls” (Great American Family, 8 p.m.), the sequel to “When Calls the Heart,” returns for a second season. 

Homer takes a miracle weight loss drug on “The Simpsons” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“The Americas” (NBC, 8 p.m.) visits wildlife on the pacific Coast. 

Rebels demand Cromwell’s head on “Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). 

“Marie Antoinette” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) tries to protect herself and her unborn child. 

Stupendous performs in Hector’s traveling fighting show on “Krapopolis” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.). 

“Call the Midwife” (PBS, 8 p.m.) helps a single mother discharged from a psychiatric hospital. 

The death of a client brings Ted and Rick back together on “Suits LA” (NBC, 9 p.m.). 

“60 Minutes” (CBS, 7 p.m.) reports on the men sent to the maximum security prison in El Salvador. 

Hollywood week has their showstopper episode on “American Idol” (ABC, 8 p.m.), where Jelly Roll is the season’s first artist in residence. 

“The $100,000 Pyramid” (ABC, 10 p.m.) is played by Rob Riggle, Luenell, Fortune Feimster and Rachel Dratch.

Wolf and Honeybee’s business gets a review on “The Great North” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“Married to Medicine” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) wraps up its 11th season with the last of its reunion episodes. 

Brit tries to make amends with Kenya on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (Bravo, 8 p.m.). 

“Bar Rescue” (Paramount, 10 p.m.) helps out a joint in St. Clair, Mo. 

When the FBI takes over a murder case , Leaphorn and Chee strike out on their own on “Dark Winds” (AMC, 9 p.m.). 

“Sinister Surgeon” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) is a made-for-TV thriller about a young doctor who goes to work for a cosmetic surgeon who may be killing his patients.

The DOGE era is the subject of “The War on Government: A Fareed Zaharia Special” (CNN, 8 p.m.).

“The United States of Scandal” (CNN, 9 p.m.) interviews art world con artist Anna Delvey. 

Invetigations converge, and of course are disappointed, on “Expedition Bigfoot” (Travel, 9 p.m.). 

“Filthy Fortunes” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) deals with BBQ smokers and termites. 

Former player Laura Zerra returns to mentor a former MMA fighter on “Naked and Afraid” (Discovery, 8 p.m.). 

“The Baldwins” (TLC, 10 p.m.) enjoy the final days of summer. 

Rites of spring come to an end on “Yellowjackets” (Showtime, 8 p.m.). 

“WWE Rivals” (A&E, 9:30 p.m.) looks at the relationship of Undertaker and Triple H. 

Turner Classic Movies has two films written and directed by Carl Reiner, “The Comic” (8 p.m.) and “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” (10 p.m.). The silent movie at 12 o’clock is “The New Klondike” (midnight), followed by two from Agnes Varda, “Cleo from 5 to 7” (2 a.m.) and “Le bonheur” (3:45 a.m.). 

Baseball includes Dodgers at Philadelphia (MLB, 1:30 p.m.), Cleveland at Angels (MLB, 4:30 p.m.) and St. Louis at Boston (ESPN, 7 p.m.).

Basketball includes Chicago at Charlotte (NBA, 1 p.m.), Lakers at Oklahoma City (NBA, 3:30 p.m.), Sacramento at Cleveland (NBA, 6 p.m.) and Houston at Golden State (NBA, 8:30 p.m.). 

Hockey has Washington at Islanders (TNT, 12:30 p.m.), Dallas at Minnesota (TNT, 3 p.m.), Florida at Detroit (TNT, 5:30 p.m.) and Vegas at Vancouver (ESPN, 10 p.m.). 

Men’s college basketball has the HBCU All-Star Game (CW, 1 p.m.) and the College Basketball Crown final with Nebraska vs. UCF (Fox, 5:30 p.m.).

Motor sports include the FIM Motocross World championships (CBS Sports, 10 a.m.) and the Goodyear 400 (Fox Sports 1, 3 p.m.). 

Final rounds are played in the Texas Open (Golf, 1 p.m.; NBC, 2:30 p.m.). 

UFL action has Houston at Arlington (ESPN, noon) and San Antonio at St. Louis (Fox Sports 1, 6:30 p.m.). 

It’s the final day of track anf eidld’s Grand Slam Track: Kingston (CW, 3 p.m.).

College baseball includes Texas A&M at Tennessee (ESPN2, 3 p.m.) and Arizona at Arizona State (ESPN2, 8 p.m.).
