Two major sports begin their long, long playoff runs. The NBA Playoffs begins first round play with Milwaukee at Indiana (ESPN, 1 p.m.), Clippers at Denver (ESPN, 3:30 p.m.), Detroit at New York (ESPN, 6 p.m.) and Minnesota at Lakers (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).
Hockey, meanwhile, has first round play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with St. Louis at Winnipeg (TNT, 6 p.m.) and Colorado at Dallas (TNT, 9 p.m.).
They’ll both go on for a long time. The NBA playoffs continue until June 22; the Stanley Cup Playoffs until June 23 — if necessary.
The Temptations are unfortunately not part of “Desire: A Temptations Movie” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) a made for TV movie about a talk show host who impetuously gets married to maybe the wrong guy. Tasha Smith and Adrian Holmes star.
Erin Cahill stars in the made-for-TV romance “Journey to You” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) about a woman who finds love while hiking the Camino de Santiago.
An Easter weekend entry is the original film “Forty-Seven Days with Jesus” (Great American Family, 4 p.m.) about a family that bonds by retailing Jesus’ last 47 days. Yoshi Barrages and Catherine Lidstone star.
Possibly related to Easter is the new animated preschool series “Super Duper Bunny League” (Nickelodeon, 9:30 a.m.), based on the kids comic book by Jamie Smart.
“On Air Live: The Oklahoma City Bombing” (NewsNation, 9 p.m.) looks back on the day of terror through a newsroom’s reaction.
They’re repeating the pilot of Guy Ritchie’s “MobLand” (Paramount, 10 p.m.), with Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, a big hit on the Paramount+ streaming service, which debuts its fourth episode Sunday.
Russell celebrates his gym opening on “Love & Marriage: Detroit” (OWN, 8 p.m.).
“Say Yes to the Dress” (TLC, 8 p.m.) helps a radio host get a flashy gown.
The sci-fi triller about a weekend getaway with an android robot as a guest, “Companion” (HBO, 8 p.m.) with Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid, makes its premium cable debut.
James and his mom meet four new matches on “Somebody’s Son” (OWN, 9 p.m.).
“Have I Got news for You” (CNN, 9 p.m.) has George Wallace and Alyssa Farah Griffin as guests.
Here’s a documentary on Sweden’s biggest pop export, “ABBA: Against All Odds” (CW, 8 p.m.).
Turner Classic Movies has a Sherwood Forest double feature with “The Adventures of Robin Hood” (8 p.m.) and “Robin and Marian” (10 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “The Set-Up” (midnight), followed by “The Mackintosh Man” (1:45 a.m.) and “The Wrong Man” (3:45 a.m.). The musical matinee is “Lovely to Look At” (noon).
Baseball includes Kansas City at Detroit (MLB, 1 p.m.), St. Louis at Mets (Fox, 4 p.m.), San Diego at Houston (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.) and San Francisco at Angels (MLB, 10 p.m.).
