International power broker or war criminal? The jury is still out on the role of Henry Kissinger, who served under six presidents. A new two-part, three hour documentary on “American Experience” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) tracks his life and career, starting with his childhood in Hitler’s Germany and his years as a Nazi hunter in the United States before he becomes Secretary of State under Nixon. Part one ends with Kent State; the concluding half is tomorrow.

New from Denmark is the drama series “The Asset” (Netflix, streaming), about an undercover intelligence service agent who tries to infiltrate the operations of a criminal mastermind by getting to know his girlfriend. 

Monday Night Football has Washington at Kansas City (ABC, ESPN, 8 p.m.). 

Game 3 of the World Series moves to Los Angeles with Toronto at Dodgers (Fox, 8 p.m.) with Max Scherzer pitching against Tyler Glasnow. The series is tied 1-1. 

“The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.) begins knockout rounds. 

A search for a nanny takes an awkward turn on “The Neighborhood” (CBS, 8 p.m.). 

“TV We Love” (CW, 8 pm.) looks back at “The Love Boat” with some of its writers, directors and cast.

Colette gives Noa his driving test on “DMV” (CBS, 8:30 p.m.).

“FBI” (CBS, 9 p.m.) responds to the death of a young man found on federal land. 

Tamera Mowry-Housley hosts a new competition, “Baked with Love: Holiday” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.), in which of course the holiday refers to Christmas. It comes on the night of the finale for the “Halloween Baking Championship” (Food, 9 p.m.). 

A second season starts for the reality competition looking for the next leading man for Hallmark holiday movies, “Finding Mr. Christmas” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), hosted by Melissa Peterman. 

“Watson” (CBS, 10 p.m.) works on the case of a 30-year-old woman who looks 10. 

A ghost from Dr. Wolf’s past arises on “Brilliant Minds” (NBC, 10 p.m.). 

“Below Deck Mediterranean” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) tries to find a way to deal with vegans. 

Constable Roberts investigates the death of an old friend on “Murdoch Mysteries” (Ovation, 8 p.m.). 

“Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings: The Great Eight” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) is in Minnesota; “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) is in Kentucky.

Could today’s rulers carry traces of extraterrestrial DNA? (They certainly seem from another world sometimes). “Ancient Aliens: Origins” (History, 9 p.m.) examines the question. 

“Seeing Sister Wife” (TLC, 9 p.m.) grills Jackie. 

Legionnaires’ Disease is one of the “Mysteries of the Unknown” (Travel, 8 p.m.).
