Life isn’t just scary for humans. The creatures of documentary series “Nightmares of Nature: Lost in the Jungle” (Netflix, streaming) — a young opossum, a recently-hatched iguana and a jumping spider — all fight to escape predators in order to survive in the Central American rainforest. It follows the mouse, raccoon and frog who were frightened in last month’s “Nightmares of Nature: Cabin in the Woods” (Netflix, streaming). Maya Hawke narrates. 

From Germany comes the music documentary “Babo: The Hatbefehl Story” (Netflix, streaming), profiling the rap star known as  Haftbefehl. 

From South Korea comes “Physical: Asia” (Netflix, streaming) in which the individual competition “Physical: 100” that ran two seasons is expanded such that its contestants represent their own countries across Asia. 

The second half of the two-night profile on Henry Kissinger runs on “American Experience” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). 

Sports dominate broadcast TV, which is kind of odd for a Tuesday night, with Toronto at Dodgers (Fox, 8 p.m.) in Game 4 of the World Series, with Shane Bieber vs. Shohei Ohtani on the mound.

It’s opposite the NBA with Knicks at Milwaukee (NBC, 8 p.m.).  

“Dancing with the Stars” (ABC, 8 p.m.) dresses up for Halloween night. Cheryl Burke returns as guest judge. 

A death is connected to a blackmail investigation on “NCIS” (CBS, 8 p.m.); a young Dr. Ducky Mallard arrives to Camp Pendleton on “NCIS: Origins” (CBS, 9 p.m.) and charges of a war crime arises on “NCIS: Sydney” (CBS, 10 p.m.). 

A timely “High Potential” (ABC, 10 p.m.) involves a painting stolen from a museum. 

It is getting chillier. So “Northwoods Survival” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) begins its second season, alongside a seventh season start for “Ice Road Rescue” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.). 

Nancy angers men inside the White House on “Tyler Perry’s The Oval” (BET, 9 p.m.). 

“Love & Hip Hop Miami” (BET, 8 p.m.) celebrates two years of Angela’s sobriety. 

One of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” switches places with a Double Dutch enthusiast on “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition” (Bravo, 9:15 p.m.). 

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” (Bravo, 8 p.m.), meanwhile, go on a cruise featuring the same crew from “Below Deck Down Under.” 

Dark forces gather against Lee on “The Lowdown” (FX, 9 p.m.). 

“Survival of the Beast” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) examines the life of the leopard. 

Past winners return again to “Alex vs. America” (Food, 9 p.m.). 

“Homestead Rescue” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) helps a family facing bad weather in the Black Hills. 

When disturbed bones conjure an angry headless woman, they call it “Paranormal Revenge” (Travel, 9 p.m.). 

Apparently there was a domestic twist to this story, in “Hunted by My Husband: The Untold Story of the DC Sniper” (Investigation Discovery, 9 p.m.). 

Baylen hosts a sleepover for her brother on “Baylen Out Loud” (TLC, 9 p.m.). 

“7 Little Johnstons” (TLC, 10 p.m.) have a fish fry. 

Turner Classic Movies has a raft of pre-code dramas tonight with “Employees’ Entrance” (8 p.m.), “Jewel Robbery” (9:30 p.m.), “Night Nurse” (10:45 p.m.), “The Divorcee” (12:15 a.m.), “Heat Lightning” (1:45 a.m.), “Three on a Match” (3 a.m.) and “Heroes for Sale” (4:15 a.m.). 

During the day are some classic horror with Lon Chaney in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (7 a.m.) and “A Phantom of the Opera” (10:30 a.m.) surrounding the documentary “Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces” (9 a.m.). Then comes “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” (12:15 p.m.), “Isle of the Dead” (2:15 p.m.), “Bedlam” (3:30 p.m.), “Mark of the Vampire” (5 p.m.) and “House of Dark Shadows” (6:15 p.m.). 

NBA action also has Clippers at Golden State (Peacock, 11 p.m.). 

Hockey has Pittsburgh at Philadelphia (ESPN, 6 p.m.), Washington at Dallas (ESPN, 8:30 p.m.) and Los Angeles at San Jose (ESPN, 11 p.m.). 

College football has UTEP at Kennesaw State (ESPNU, 8 p.m.) and James Madison at Texas State (ESPN2, 8 p.m.).
