With the Winter Olympics approaching, Netflix is going all in on ice dancing. Before a new documentary series begins Feb. 1, here’s a fictional drama, “Finding Her Edge” (Netflix, streaming), about a teenage hopeful who pretends to be a couple with her skating partner in order to score some sponsorships. Based on the young adult novels by Jennifer Iacopelli, it stars Madelyn Keys and Cale Ambrovic,

One of his classic comedy bits, dating back to the 1950s, was “The 2,000 Year Old Man.” Almost as impressive is his actual age, which provides a title of a new two-part documentary about his career by Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio, “Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!” (HBO, 8 p.m.). 

Bert Kreischer, the rotund comic whose signature move is going shirtless, is now at the center of a coarse and charmless sitcom, “Free Bert” (Netflix, streaming) in which he plays himself as a comedian and would-be family man. And while those around him, including Arden Myrin as the wife, are good, they only serve to show how bad an actor Kreischer is. 

In the wake of the mammoth success of “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” here’s a new anime combining musical women and action from Japan. “Cosmic Princess Kaguya!” (Netflix, streaming) is the first full length film from Shingo Yamashita, who got attention for his opening sequences in “Jujutsu Kaisen” and  “Chainsaw Man.”

Former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith will testify in a Congressional Committee Hearing (CSPAN2, CNN, 10 a.m.) and his testimony on his abandoned investigation of Trump and his behavior on Jan. 6. Tonight , it will become a primetime special tonight, “The Trump Investigations: Jack Smith Testifies” (MSNow, 8 p.m.). 

“Hell’s Kitchen” (Fox, 8 p.m.) chooses a winner on the season finale. The prize; $250,000 and a he’d chef job at Foxwoods. 

Two game shows return for second seasons: “Scrabble” (CW, 8 p.m.) with Craig Ferguson hosting and “Trivial Pursuit” (CW, 9 p.m.) with LaVar Burton. 

Bex goes after a class-obsessed serial killer on “The Hunting Party” (NBC, 10 p.m.).

“Law & Order” (NBC, 8 p.m.) goes after a murder suspect using high-tech surveillance against them; a decades-old missing persons case is reopened on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (NBC, 9 p.m.). 

Rob Gronkowski returns, needing help in rehoming a zebra on “Animal Control” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“Going Dutch” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) sees fallout from the messy breakup of the Colonel and Katja. 

Harry struggles to complete the academy firefighting exam on “9-1-1” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

“Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC, 10 p.m.) gets a visit from Nick’s estranged sister. 

Ryan and Samantha reconnect on “9-1-1: Nashville” (ABC, 9 p.m.) 

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) meet with a psychic. It won’t help.

Sky wants an even bigger house on “The Valley: Persian Style” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

“No One Believed Me” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.) is a made-for-TV movie about a woman who escapes a dangerous man only to find.

Lost pyramids of Egypt are the focus of “Ancient Aliens” (History, 9 p.m.). 

“Discovered by Disaster” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) finds a Mexican temple after a severe drought. 

Turner Classic Movies’ month-long Thursday night salute to actress Jean Arthur continues with “The Devil and Miss Jones” (8 p.m.), “The More the Merrier” (10 p.m.), “A Foreign Affair” (midnight) and “The Impatient Years” (2:15 a.m.). 

Earlier today, TCM has a half dozen Hildegarde Withers mysteries with “Penguin Pool Murder” (6 a.m.), “Murder on the Blackboard” (7:15 a.m.), “Murder on a Honeymoon” (8:30 a.m.), “Murder on a Bridle Path” (9:45 a.m.), “The Plot Thickens” (11 a.m.) and “Forty Naughty Girls” (12:15 p.m.). 

This afternoon, there are also a handful of Miss Marple mysteries, with “Murder She Said” (1:30 p.m.), “Murder at the Gallop” (3 p.m.), “Murder Most Foul” (4:30 p.m.) and “Murder Ahoy” (6:15 p.m.). 

NBA action includes Golden State at Dallas (Prime Video, 7:30 p.m.) and Lakers at Clippers (Prime Video, 10 p.m.). 

Hockey has Chicago at Carolina (Hulu, 7 p.m.) and Detroit at Minnesota (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.). 

Men’s college basketball includes South Florida at UAB (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), Wisconsin at Penn State (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.), Campbell at Charleston (CW, 7 p.m.), Monmouth at Hampton (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.), Tennessee State at SIU Edwardsville (ESPNU, 9 p.m.) and Missouri State at New Mexico State (CBS Sports, 9 p.m.). 

Women’s games include Iowa at Maryland (NBC, 6 p.m.), UConn at Georgetown (TNT, truTV, 7:30 p.m.), South Carolina at Oklahoma (ESPN, 7:30 p.m.) and Indiana at Ohio State (Peacock, 8 p.m.),
