The reckless war on Iran that weighs on the world dominates the first hour of this week’s Capital Radio. It turns out a lot of songs about the pointless war in the Gulf fits pretty well for this one. It all led to a few songs endorsing this weekend’s No Kings rally.
We celebrated the birthdays of Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, who turns 58; Chaka Khan, turning 73; David Grisman, 81, as well as Ric Ocasek of The Cars, born this day in 1944, as was producer Jimmy Miller, pictured above, whose work we heard with the Rolling Stones, The Move, Spencer Davis Group and Primal Scream.
The good news at the end of the show was that baseball’s opening day is imminent. But it was strange when setting up the show’s final song, the computer went off altogether. So the show ends rather abruptly, like a walk off run.
