Whatever happens on “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” (CBS, 10 p.m.) seems to have little to do with fashion. It’s about teensy lingerie they are trying to sell, and giant accessory wings that they don’t. And how the cameraman deals with filming a bunch of bare-bottomed girls marching down the runway for a show on network TV.
There are performers involved as well, including Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, so it’s got to be a little bit wholesome. But not as much as the perennial that starts the night, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” (CBS, 8 p.m.).
“Sons of Anarchy” (FX, 10 p.m.) ends their excruciatingly violent season with what promises to be an excruciatingly violent finale which like a number of episodes did this season, runs long — 90 minutes.
Advice is the reason to go “In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman” (OWN, 10 p.m.). As for the other female TV doctors on tonight, how is it that the one on “Hart of Dixie” (The CW, 8 p.m.) gets a second season and “Emily Owens, M.D.” (The CW, 9 p.m.) can’t complete one?
Will Sarah finally hook up with Hank on “Parenthood” (NBC, 10 p.m.)?
Marlo Thomas guest stars on “The New Normal” (NBC, 9:30 p.m.). Olivia Munn begins a three episode run as Nick’s girlfriend on “New Girl” (Fox, 9 p.m.).
“Go On” (NBC, 9 p.m.) has a party celebrating Christmas and the end of the world.
Ne-Yo and Adam Levine’s band Matchbox 20 perform before another two are eliminated on “The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.), unveiling a Top 4.
Four remaining contestants on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.) do a circus themed group dance.
Chef Chuck Hughes cooks for the holiday on “Chuckmas” (Cooking Channel, 8 p.m.), though it sounds like a day when he celebrates himself.
Cleanup on aisle three. Komodo dragons roam on “Frontier Earth Presented by Walmart” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.).
Some kids can’t get enough of “Elf” (AMC, 8 p.m.), which admittedly is a bettter movie than, say, “Fred Claus” (ABC Family, 10 p.m.).
Did you see Sunday’s “Boardwalk Empire” (HBO Signature, 8 p.m.) or “Homeland” (Showtime, 10 p.m.)? We can’t hold off these spoilers forever.
There are many things the folks on “Little People, Big World: Wedding Farm” (TLC, 9 p.m.) can control. Rain is not one of them.
“Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.) moves to a new night with an update on a guitar invention and an appearnce by John Rich.
America is discovered and the Aztecs fall on the latest installment of “Mankind: The Story of All of Us” (History, 9 p.m.).
There’s a replay of the two hour documentary about John Lennon’s life in New York on “American Masters” (PBS, 8 p.m.), reminding us that he died 32 years ago this Saturday.
College basketball includes Texas vs. Georgetown (ESPN, 7 p.m.), Oklahoma at Arkansas (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), North Carolina State vs. Connecticut (ESPN, 9 p.m.) and Northwestern at Baylor (ESPNU, 9 p.m.).
