The new reality series “Tanked” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) follows a family operation that specializes in oversized custom aquariums, led by a pair of brothers-in-law from New York.

As in many workplace reality shows, the battles within the familiy are as newsworthy as whatever they are working on. But the initial project in Las Vegas is a huge tank for the Las Vegas Mob Museum, illustrating swimming with the fishes.

Elsewhere, it’s Atlanta at Jacksonville (Fox, 8 p.m.) in preseason football.

“Karaoke Battle USA” (ABC, 8 p.m.) proved in its debut last week to be more of a show about a reality competition than the competition itself. The auditions are truncated, the judges’ comments excerpted and incomplete. It’s almost as if they’re rushing through a show they know is pretty bad.

A New Dehli hotel is under siege on the second episode fo “Strike Back” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.).

It’s the fourth (!) season finale for the Canadian summer cop import, “Flashpoint” (CBS, 8 p.m.).

“Jurassic CSI” (National Geographic Channel, 8 p.m.) isn’t about ancient criminal investigators; it’s a paleontologist, Phil Manning, discussing dinosaurs.

The West Coast Beard & Mustache Championships are covered on the latest “Whisker Wars” (IFC, 11 p.m.).

Dana Brown’s documentary “Step Into Liquid” (ESPN Classic, 10 p.m.) is a surf movie in the tradition of his father’s “Endless Summer.”

I’m thinking that the special “Fox News Reporting: Dick Cheney Revealed” (Fox News, 10 p.m.), hosted by Bret Baier, will be pretty flattering portrait of the former vice president, set to cash in with his new memoir.

Debbie Reynolds is the star of the day on Turner Classic Movies, with “The Gazebo” (8 p.m.), “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” (10 p.m.), “Divorce, American Style” (12:15 a.m.), “Singin’ in the Rain” (2:15 a.m.) and “The Singing Nun” (4:15 a.m.).
