As the field of Republican Presidential contenders shrinks, the new cast of “Celebrity Apprentice” was announced Wednesday.

It includes such veterans of reality TV as Adam Carolla, Pen Jillette, Dee Snider and Paul Teutel Sr. of “American Chopper” fame as well as Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken, Lou Ferrigno (TV’s “Hulk,” left), George Takei of “Star Trek” fame and Michael Andretti, the Indy car driver.

On the women’s team are Cheryl Tiegs, Debbie Gibson, Tia Carrerre (“Wayne’s World”), Victoria Gotti, Lisa Lampanelli, singer Aubrey O’Day, model Patricia Valasquez, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Teresa Guidice and a former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza.

The season starts Feb. 12, a little earlier perhaps to accommodate star Donald Trump, who has said he will decide whether he will run for president as an independent after the finale. He had flirted with running for the Republican nomination.
