Russian diva Anna Netrebko makes her debut in the Metropolitan Opera’s premiere of Donizetti’s opera “Anna Bolena” on “Great Performances at the Met” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings. The opera depicts the last days of Anne Boleyn, unlucky wife of Henry VIII. In addition to the Russian soprano, the production by David McVicar includes Ekaterina Gubanova, Ildar Abdrazokov, Stephen Costello and Tamara Mumford. Marco Armiliato conducts.

Mark Cuban joins the fulltime cast for “Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.) as it starts a new season hearing people’s proposals and bidding on their ideas. One of them is a new kind of water bottle designed by former NBA star Bill Walton.

It comes alongside a new season for the game show conducted by a news division, “Primetime: What Would You Do?” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

Gordon Ramsay tries to remake an eatery in Austin on a new “Kitchen Nightmares” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

Friday’s funniest show? “Portlandia” (IFC, 10 p.m.).

It’s one of the last weeks of “Chuck” (NBC, 8 p.m.), which ends altogether next week.
