The youngest and oldest remaining contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” were eliminated Tuesday leaving just four competitors in the semi-finals next week.
Melissa Gilbert, who had been near the bottom of judges scores for weeks, was finally eliminated on her 48th birthday.
More surprising perhaps, was the elimination of Roshon Fegan, 20, a Disney Channel star who had the second highest score Monday, with a near perfect fox trot with partner Chelsie Hightower scoring two 10s and a 9 – his highest score of the season. William Levy did even better though – scoring a perfect 30.
Gilbert’s ouster came on a night when she scored her best score of the season as well – a 27 for her trio dance.
But the remaining four in the competition each has averaged higher judges scores all season. Leading the dancers is opera singer Katherine Jenkins, followed by Levy, Maria Menounos, who scored the first 30 of the season last week, and NFL star Donald Driver.
