The upcoming ninth season of “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” will be his last, the Travel Channel announced Monday.

The bon vivant former chef has traveled to more than 60 countries in the series, traveling over 716,000 miles, which they figure is the equivalent to circumnavigating the globe over 28 times.

More than that, he opened the door form a number of other brash, nontraditional travel guides on Travel and other networks.

Bourdain will travel to Australia, Italy, France, Brazil and the Dominican Republic before ending his final season in Brooklyn.

Bourdain won’t be retiring to his den; he’s been signed to develop a CNN series on exotic cuisines and cultures.

The final season of “No Reservations” is on Sept. 9, heralded by a marathon of past episodes
