For the third week in a row, the highest scoring dancer has changed on the “Dancing with the Stars” all star season.

After Emmitt Smith led the first week, and Sabrina Bryan did the second, two other dancers each had the highest scores of the week — and the season so far on Monday’s show, Kelly Monaco and Melissa Rycroft.

Rycroft got the first straight 9s (out of 10) from judges for her samba with Tony Dovolani to “Fever,” earning a 27. But so did Monaco, the first season winner who was among the lowest scorers last week. It shook her into action such that her paso doble with Val Chermovskiy also earned straight 9s.

Otherwise the scores bunch up quite a bit on the show with Shawn Johnson at 26.5 (for a quickstep that got the highest single score of the season, a 9.5 from Bruno Tonioli), Helio Castroneves, Apolo Ohno, Gillies Marini and Bryan all at 25.5; Drew Lachey and Kirstie Alley at 24 and still skidding to the lowest score of the week, for the second week in a row, Bristol Palin, whose 22.5 for a paso doble with three 7.5 scores was better than the straight 6s she thought she’d never surpass.
With a double elimination scheduled Tuesday, there’s still no guarantee she’s out though, given how home viewers kept her around for season 11, where she finished third despite judges’ scores.
