That changes tonight with a six-episode limited series ‘“The Night Manager” (AMC, 10 p.m.), starring as Tom Hiddleston, a hotel manager recruited to help snare an international arms dealer played with steely cool by Hugh Laurie. The always welcome Olivia Colman is also involved as the British intelligence officer who recruits him, and Elizabeth Debicki adds some allure as Laurie’s girlfriend.

Four children from the battered Syrian city of Aleppo are followed over three years in a special report on “Frontline” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

A second new “limited series” starting tonight is “Containment” (The CW, 9 p.m.), based on the Belgian series “Cordon” about a strange outbreak in Atlanta that leads to a huge quarantine.

As new shows come, others end their seasons including “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (Fox, 9 p.m.) and “Outsiders” (WGN America, 9 p.m.). “Limitless” (CBS, 10 p.m.) begins to end its first season with the part one of its season finale.

No matter the outcome o the New York State Presidential Primary (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Span, 8 p.m.), it still probably won’t be the season finale for anybody.

Despite the headstone’s warning, “Blest be the man that spares thes stones, And curst be he that moves my bones,” investigators still get a peek at what’s buried in “Shakespeare’s Tomb” (PBS, 9 p.m.), in a special marking the 400th anniversary of his death.

“Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” (HBO, 10 p.m.) looks at foul ball injuries at baseball parks and Donald Trump’s problems with a Scottish golf course.

Bad weather, faulty boats and inexperienced crew are a dangerous mix on “Deadliest Catch” (Discovery, 9 p.m.).

Crazy weather also endangers Greenland’s Arctic Circle Race, a three day cross country ski race on “Boundless” (Esquire, 10 p.m.).

The wedding dates arrive on the two hour season finale of “Bride & Prejudice” (FYI, 9 p.m.).

It’s hip-hop week on “Dance Moms” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.).

Ninety minutes of “Bad Girls Club” (Oxygen, 8 p.m.) may be the definition of overstaying one’s welcome.
