aquarius-car-620x400David Duchovny is arguably more at home in his role as a late 60s L.A. detective in the Manson-era “Aquarius” (NBC, 9 p.m.) than he was in the returning “X-Files” or even his old “Californication.” The second season starts tonight with a two hour, commercial-free episode as Manson moves into the home of a musically-minded benefactor (Dennis Wilson?).

Also back is the barely memorable dream home competition “Home Free” (Fox, 9 p.m.). The NFL’s Tim Tebow is the new co-host with Mike Holmes. But how did they get new competitors who didn’t know the show’s twist (the competitors win the house they renovate)?

There’s nothing as popular this season as the NBA Finals, which moves to Game 6 of Golden State at Cleveland (ABC, 9 p.m.). Earlier, “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night” (ABC, 8 p.m.) welcomes Oprah Winfrey.

“Orphan Black” (BBC America, 10 p.m.) ends its fourth season with the dissolving of Sarah’s alliance with Rachel. The talk show that follows, “After the Black” (BBC America, 11 p.m.) will put it all in perspective.

Andy Cohen plays clips from four seasons of “Inside Amy Schumer” (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.).

The drug epidemic that befell the “Streets of Compton” (A&E, 10 p.m.) is also the final episode of the miniseries.

In the first of a new series of the online “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” (Crackle, streaming), Jerry Seinfeld tools around in a camper with Jim Gaffigan.

Eustace has a breakthrough with the lumber business on “Mountain Men” (History, 10 p.m.).

Eddie goes to China on a new “Huang’s World” (Viceland, 10 p.m.).

After two straight nights of the documentary series, Part 4 of “O.J. Simpson: Made in America” won’t air until  Friday. But the final two chapters are streaming online at ESPN.com if you can’t wait.

A pro hockey player is investigated after a headless corpse is found on “Bones” (fox, 8 p.m.).

Lang Lang and the Shanghai Symphony perform for “The Grand Opening Celebration of Shanghai Disney Resort” (Disney, 8 p.m.), in which the Peter Pan area will be completely swept of crocodiles.

 

It’s Rachel Bloom vs. Michael Shannon on “Lip Sync Battle” (Spike, 10 p.m.).

Musicals that were first hits on Broadway are on Turner Classic Movies tonight with “Gypsy” (8 p.m.), “Funny Girl” (10:30 p.m.), “A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum” (1:15 a.m.) and “Camelot” (3 a.m.). Earlier today it’s all about the “Mexican Spitfire” (TCM, 11 a.m.) as played by Lupe Velez, a remake of “The Girl from Mexico” (TCM, 9:45 a.m.) that was followed by “Mexican Spitfire Out West” (TCM, 12:15 p.m.), “Mexican Spitfire’s Baby” (TCM, 1:45 p.m.), “Mexican Spitfire at Sea” (TCM, 3 p.m.), “Mexican Spitfire Sees a Ghost” (TCM, 4:15 p.m.), “Mexican Spitfire’s Elephant” (TCM, 5:30 p.m.) and “Mexican Spitfire’s Blessed Event” (TCM, 6:45 p.m.).
