Episode 612The domestic sixth season of “Homeland” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) has purposely hit close to home, with a new president, national security out of control, an army of bots churning out fake news and trolls and terrorist bombs of unknown origin. It all comes home to roost in the season finale tonight.

It’s also the end of the season for the agreeable first season of Pete Holmes’ “Crashing” (HBO, 10:30 p.m.), in which Artie Lange pays a return visit.

The end of “Girls” (HBO, 10 p.m.) comes next week, but Hannah is settling things with her friends before then.

Even after the “Walking Dead” ended its season, the accompanying “Talking Dead” continues taking about other things, but with the same host. Hence “Talking with Chris Hardwick” (AMC, 11 p.m.). His first guest: Elijah Wood.
