MLKJrToday, on the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, comes four documentaries. “Rise Up: The Movement That Changed America” (History, 10 p.m.) looks back at the civil rights struggle, and is produced by filmmaker Stanley Nelson and NBA star LeBron James. ”I Am MLK Jr.” (BET, Paramount, 9 p.m.) looks at the man and his legacy, including interviews with Rep. John Lewis, Jesse Jackson, Shaun King, Van Jones, and another basketball star, Carmelo Anthony.

The crime itself is more of the focus on “Martin Luther King Jr: Marked Man” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.), which is presented alongside “JFK: The Lost Bullet” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.). And public television concludes the two-part “Black America Since MLK: Still I Rise” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).

“National Treasure” is an arresting series that has a way of mirroring events. The first season focused on a well-loved comedian (hence the title), hit with charges of sexual assault. The unexpected second season, fully titled “National Treasure: Kiri” (Hulu, streaming) is the story of a young black girl who disappears just before she is to be adopted by a white family. Was the girl’s biological father to blame? Sarah Lancashire and Felicia Mukasa star.

Elsewhere, Stan’s old friend makes a visit on “The Americans” (FX, 10 p.m.).

“The Real Housewives of New York City” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) returns for a 10th season.

Emily enlists Chuck in help with shady matters on “Designated Survivor” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

“Famous in Love” (Freeform, 8 p.m.) returns for a second season.

Second seasons also begin for “Storage Wars: Northern Treasures” (A&E, 9 p.m.), “Iron Chef Gauntlet” (Food, 9 p.m.) and “Murder Chose Me” (Investigation Discovery, 10 p.m.).

“The Magicians” (Syfy, 9 p.m.) reaches its third season finale, trying to recapture the magic.

The life of a butterfly is chronicled on a new “Nature” (PBS, 8 p.m.).

“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) doesn’t seem to have involved Ghost Island all that much in the start of the season.

Eddie looks to rebrand “Empire” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

“The Goldbergs” (ABC, 8 p.m.) go on spring break.

Wes gets a surprise visitor on “Life Sentence” (The CW, 9 p.m.), whose Lucy Hale also pops up on “Hollywood Teen Medium” (E!, 9 p.m.) alongside Selma Blair and Tyler Oakley.

An associate of the Nash Syndicate is murdered on “The Blacklist” (NBC, 8 p.m.).

Gloria’s ex-boyfriend Jorge visits, looking a lot like Manny on “Modern Family” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

Charles makes a decision about Noah’s tour on “Star” (Fox, 9 p.m.).

“Alex, Inc” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) has to figure out the office dynamic.

How to handle an inheritance is an issue on “American Housewife” (ABC, 9:30 p.m.).

You’d think they’d be spending all their time preparing for the wedding on “Suits” (USA, 9 p.m.).

Autumn wants to move out on “Little Women: LA” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.).

Moira tries to get out of jury duty on “Schitt’s Creek” (Pop, 8 p.m.).

“Expedition Unknown” (Travel, 9 p.m.) looks for D.B. Cooper.

The films of director Michael Curtiz are featured Wednesdays all month on Turner Classic Movies, starting with “Noah’s Ark” (8 p.m.), “20,000 Years in Sing Sing” (10 p.m.), “Kid Galahad” (11:30 p.m.), “Front Page Woman” (1:30 a.m.), “Jimmy the Gent” (3 a.m.) and “Mandalay” (4:15 a.m.).

Baseball includes Tampa Bay at Yankees (MLB, 1 p.m.), Cleveland at Angels (MLB, 4 p.m.) and Colorado at San Diego (MLB, 10 p.m.).
