Judd Nelson and Joley Fisher star as the parents of a girl (Stefanie Scott), whom he secretly imprisons in the basement, based on a gruesome true story in the film “Girl in the Basement” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

In the other made-for-TV tonight, an engaged woman suddenly meets her fiancé’s brother. Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes star in “It Was Always You” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.).

“A Wild Year on Earth” (BBC America, 8 p.m.) ends its season by following the Monarch butterfly migration to Mexico. 

Old buildings of the rust belt are searched on “Mysteries of the Abandoned” (Discovery, 8 p.m.). Middle East ruins are searched at 9 p.m. Then there’s a third episode at 10.

The premiere of “Superman and Lois” (TNT, 9 p.m.) gets a replay on cable. 

Turner Classic Movies takes up most of the night with “Dances with Wolves” (8 p.m.). The noir at midnight is “Odds Against Tomorrow” (midnight), followed by “The Wind and the Lion” (2 a.m.) and “Quentin Durward” (4:15 a.m.). 

The NBA gets another Saturday night broadcast showcase with Dallas at Brooklyn (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).
