There’s nowhere better to be than Turner Classic Movies for Silent Movie Day, featuring many films made as long as a century ago. It starts with “Flesh and the Devil” (6:15 a.m.), “The Wind” (8:15 a.m.), “The Battleship Potemkin” (9:45 a.m.), “City Lights” (11 a.m.), “Within Our Gates” (12:30 p.m.), “The Passion of Joan of Arc” (2 p.m.), “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” (4 p.m.) and “The Freshman” (6:30 p.m.).

Primetime has few recent documentaries on silent filmmakers. The new “The Méliès Mystery” (8 p.m.), about restoring 270 of the 520 lost films of George Méliès, is followed by his  “A Trip to the Moon” (9:15 p.m.), pictured above. There’s also a 2018 documentary about the early Black filmmaker in “Be Natural: The Untold Story of Alice Guy-Blaché” (9:30 p.m.), about the French female pioneer filmmaker. A 2018 documentary on Buster Keaton, “The Great Buster” (11:15 p.m.) is followed by his “Sherlock Jr.” (1 a.m.). The night ends with “Sparrows” (2:15 a.m.) and “Piccadilly” (4 a.m.).

A memorable season of “Big Brother” (CBS, 9 p.m.) ends tonight with a two hour finale and the show’s first African American winner in 23 seasons. If things are fair, the winner will be Xavier Prather, who has played a strong game throughout (until he went back on his word and threw out Kyland last week). Azah Awasum and especially Derek Frazier are, by contrast, practically poster children for floaters. Look for Tiffany to be voted fan favorite.

“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) hasn’t been wasting time getting into new rules and twists.

Cody Rhodes is making a go of starting his own WWF style wrestling empire called AEW. So he’ll also agreed in having a reality show about himself and his wife, fellow wrestler Brandi Rhodes, in the style of “Mr. & Mz.” “Rhodes to the Top” (TNT, 10 p.m.) shows their day-to-day running of the business.
