Maybe the way to experience big tours is not in concert halls but at home watching streaming services.
Tonight there are two such experiences. “Madame X” (Paramount+, streaming) chronicles the world tour by Madonna in a concert captured in Lisbon. “Justin Bieber: Our World” (Amazon Prime, streaming) follows that pop stars actions leading up to a New Year’s Eve 2020 concert from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
“Muppets Haunted Mansion” (Disney+, streaming) is a holiday special from the puppet crew in a story about Gonzo’s efforts to spend a night in a haunted mansion.
Another new film, animated, is “Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Justice” (Netflix, streaming).
“Nancy Drew” (CW, 9 p.m.) returns for its season premiere and a new mystery to investigate when a body is found on the carnival grounds.
Carlos Santana and Kali Uchis are among the honorees at The 34th Hispanic Heritage Awards (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).
“The Amber Ruffin Show” (Peacock, 9 p.m.) returns for a second season.
Drive-in movie enthusiast Joe Bob Briggs returns for his annual holiday epecial, showing a scary double feature under the title “Joe Bob’s Halloween Hoedown” (Shudder, 9 p.m.).
