A couple of big Hollywood films get their premieres on streaming services.

Benedict Cumberbatch portrays the eccentric 19th century British artist Louis Wain who became known for his spiky, big-eyed portraits of cats in “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain” (Amazon Prime, streaming). Will Sharpe’s film, which opened in theaters just two weeks ago, also stars Claire Foy, Toby Jones, Olivia Colman and Nick Cave as H.G. Wells.

Elsewhere, Tom Hanks stars as “Fitch” (Apple TV+, streaming), a lone survivor after a cataclysm who befriends a dog and a robot in an underground bunker.

Nina Dobrev stars in the holiday romantic comedy “Love Hard” (Netflix, streaming), about a bicoastal relationship that may be all catfish. Lochlyn Munroe and Harry Shum Jr. also star

It’s not an act for Jack McBrayer to be smiley and nice all the time, so he gives Mr. Rogers a run for his money on the new series “Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show” (Apple TV+, streaming), with songs from the band OK Go.

The third and final season begins for the spinoff “Narcos: Mexico” (Netflix, streaming).

“The Unlikely Murderer” (Netflix, streaming) is a new limited true crime series that covers the graphic designer in Sweden who was named as probable assistant of the prime minister there in 1986, but eluded justice.

From Mexico comes the action documentary “A Cop Movie” (Netflix, streaming) about two new recruits who find a dysfunctional system.

The new reality series “Tampa Baes” (Amazon Prime, streaming) follows a group of comely lesbians in coastal Florida.
