Here’s a second big year-end Hollywood film in as many days, this one reviving the longstanding franchise, with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss both on board for “The Matrix Resurrections” (HBO Max, streaming). And if it is a disappointment, it will be less painful to catch it at home.

Something different, and welcome, is “The LCD Soundsystem Holiday Special” (Amazon Prime, 9 p.m.). The first half stars and is directed by Eric Wareheim portraying LCD Soundsystem leader James Murphy in a sitcom version of the band (who are played by Christine Co, Macaulay Culkin and Rex Lee among others). Then comes a live performance from the actual band.

That its first season was nominated for a Golden Globe (after 30 of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association were flown to the City of Light gratis) is part of the reason the Golden Globes won’t be on TV this year. But here’s season two of “Emily in Paris” (Netflix, streaming) starring Lily Collins as an American in France.

The live action Marvel series “Hawkeye” (Disney+, streaming), with Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld  wraps its first season.

With a winner already chosen (it was Jewel), “The Masked Singer Christmas Singalong” (Fox, 8 p.m.) is devised to get the audience to sing along to holiday music — masked or not.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (FXX, 10 p.m.) ends its trip to Ireland — and its 15th season — with tonight’s finale.
