Saturday TV: He Can’t Retire From Nature

The knighted naturalist Sir David Attenborough revisited some of his favorite locations over a seven year period he began in his mid-80s. The resulting three-part series, “Attenborough’s Global Adventure” (BBC America, 8 p.m.) takes him from the Great Barrier Reef to Borneo.

We may assume last minute training occurs in the special “Puppy Bowl Presents: Puppy Mania” (Discovery+, streaming). A look back at past pooches is on “Puppy Bowl XVIII Presents” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.). There is also a pre-game skills competition of sorts in “Puppy Bowl Presents: The Dog Games” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.). 

Past performances of the late Nanci Griffith are featured on “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). 

In the new three-part series “Profiled: The Back Man” (Discovery+, streaming) looks at  triumphs and struggles as well as.the origins of persistent stereotypes.

Autumn Reiser and Paolo Bernadini star in the made-for-TV romance “The Wedding Veil Unveiled” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) set in Italy. Lacey Chabert and Alison Sweeney also star. 

Another original movie, “Line Sisters” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) concerns four sorority sisters reuniting at a Black greek weekend on the Outer Banks who may be shaken by a deadly secret. LeToya Luckett, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, Ta’Rhonda Jones and Drew Sidora star.
