Friday TV: ‘Black Ladies Sketch Show’

The sharply-written “Black Lady Sketch Show” (HBO, 11 p.m.), with (from left to right) Skye Townsend, Ashley Nicole Black, Robin There and Gabrielle Dennis,, returns for a third season. Guest stars this time around include Ava DuVernay, Davide Alan Grier, Jemele Hill, Wayne Brady, Vanessa Williams and Holy Robinson Pete.

The clack and white “C’mon C’mon” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) with Joaquin Phoenix and Gaby Hoffman, makes its premium cable debut. 

Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton and Laurence Fishburne all star in the new spy flick “All the Old Knives” (Amazon Prime, streaming). 

The animated musical comedy “Central Park” (Apple TV+, streaming) ends its second season.

The season for the limited series “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey” (Apple TV+, streaming) comes to an end.

“Pinecone & Pony” (Apple TV+, streaming) is a new eight-episode animated series for kids based on “The Princess and the Pony” by Kate Breton. 

The Adam Scott workplace thriller “Severance” (Apple TV+, streaming) ends its first season; a second one has been recently ordered. 

The futuristic satirical cartoon “Woke” (Hulu, streaming) returns for a new season, as the show’s title has become a target of right wing factions for months.
