There’s a new football league in town the USFL begins its initial 10-week season with New Jersey at Birmingham (Fox, NBC, 7:30 p.m.), bizarrely simulcast on two broadcast networks. 

The NBA Playoffs begin in earnest with Utah at Dallas (ESPN, 1 p.m.), Minnesota at Memphis (ESPN, 3:30 p.m.), Toronto at Philadelphia (ESPN, 6 p.m.) and Denver at Golden State (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

Hallmark finally flirts with same-sex relationships in their latest made-for-TV “Love, Classified” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) starring Melora Hardin, Arienne Mandi and Max Lloyd-Jones. 

In the made-for-TV thriller “Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Love Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child plays a woman whose new beau (Antonio Cupo) turns out to be obsessive. Tina Knowles-Lawson and Romeo Miller also star.
