Thursday TV: Cristin Milioti in ‘The Resort’

A new season starts for “Made from Scratch” (Fuse, 10 p.m.), where celebrity guests cook.

“The Con” (ABC, 10 p.m.) returns for a second season from ABC News, starting with the story of a Georgia pastor turned financial advisor who bilked millions of dollars. 

What’s billed as a shocking veto meeting will lead to a live eviction and additional blindside on “Big Brother” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

There are new episodes of the game shows “Press Your Luck” (ABC, 8 p.m.) and “Generation Gap” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

In the made for TV thriller “Line Sisters” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.) a sorority reunion uncovers a deadly secret from the past. 

Another staircase fall is up for question on “Accused: Guilty or Innocent?” (A&E, 9 p.m.). 

On “Top Gear” (BBC America, 10 p.m.), the guys study for their lorry licenses. 

Olivia plans for an oyster roast on “Southern Charm” (Bravo, 9 p.m.). 

“The Captain” (ESPN, 9 p.m.) caps a World Series threepeat on the first of two episodes of the Derek Jeter biography series. The first two episodes replay at 7. 

Zelda gets an offer to be a brand influencer on “Good Trouble” (Freeform, 10 p.m.). 

“Alone” (History, 9 p.m.) is hit by a snowstorm.

Parker and DJ try to woo girls with love notes on “Buckhead Shore” (MTV, 9 p.m.).

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” (MTV, 8 p.m.) stretches on.

Jessica deals with a Kaleidoscope catastrophe on “Brat Loves Judy” (WEtv, 9 p.m.). 

“Restaurant: Impossible” (Food, 8 p.m.) helps a joint in Wyoming. 

Turner Classic Movies’ series on sea monsters concludes with “Mysterious Island” (8 p.m.), “Godzilla” (10 p.m.), “The Monster that Challenged the World” (11:45 p.m.), “The Lost Continent” (1:15 a.m.) and “Creature from the Haunted Sea” (2:45 a.m.). 

During the day are stories of gangsters going on the lam in the woods and lumberjacks with “You Have to Run Fast” (7:15 a.m.), “Dangerous Mission” (8:30 a.m.), “River’s End” (10 a.m.), “Heart of the North” (11:15 a.m.), “Timber Stampede” (12:45 p.m.), “Valley of the Giants” (2 p.m.), “The Big Trees” (3:30 p.m.), “God’s Country and the Woman” (5:15 p.m.) and “Sequoia” (6:45 p.m.). 

Baseball includes Seattle at Houston (Fox Sports 1, 8 p.m.).
