Those three magic words your parents pounded into your head as a child resurfaced today on Capital Radio. That included four different songs called “Please, Please, Please,” two that just had “Please, Please” in the title and a half dozen songs titled simply “Please.” 

Of course the word was also part of songs from Big Joe Turner to Sam Cooke to Bob Dylan. And we learn that Phil Spector re-recorded his eventual classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” as the non-seasonal non-hit “Johnny (Baby Please Come Home).”

A bunch of “Thank You” songs come from Led Zeppelin, Bonnie Raitt, The Flaming Lips and My Morning Jacket, among others.
