America is apparently running out of talent, so they’re reusing past participants for a new spin-off, “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” (NBC, 8 p.m.), with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel watching the work of various past winners and fan favorites from past seasons. An ultimate All-Star winner will be chosen from a roster of 60. Terry Crews returns to host. 

The 134th Rose Parade (ABC, NBC, 11 a.m.) occurs today in Pasadena (instead of the usual January First), with former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords is this year’s grand marshal. 

It all leads up to the Rose Bowl tonight with Penn State vs. Utah (ESPN, 5 p.m.). It’s one of the four final bowl games before the national championship, with Mississippi State vs. Illinois (ESPN, noon) in the ReliaQuest Bowl, Tulane vs. USC (ESPN, 1 p.m.) in the Cotton Bowl, LSU vs. Purdue (ABC, 1 p.m.) in the Citrus Bowl.

Another big sports event, the NHL Winter Classic has Pittsburgh at Boston (TNT, 2 p.m.), outdoors at Fenway Park though it won’t exactly be frigid. Temperatures are expected to be in the 50s. 

There is also Monday Night Football, with Buffalo at Cincinnati (ABC, ESPN, 8:30 p.m.). 

Amid the chaos of Venezuela, a youth orchestra offers some hope in the documentary “Children of Las Brisas,” making its debut on “Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

Two years after the second season ran, here’s “Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.), covering the trial that put the former singer away. Its second part runs Tuesday.

A transgender woman is shot in Texas on “Shattered Hearts” (OWN, 9 p.m.). It’s accompanied by another true crime series, “Dark Nights in the City” (OWN, 10 p.m.).

A Tennessee farmer forces Armageddon on “Mysteries of the Unknown” (Travel, 8 p.m.). 

“Antiques Roadshow” (PBS, 8 p.m.) returns to normal for its 27th season, with in person visits once more, starting in Woodside, Calif. 

A second season comes for “Fantasy Island” (Fox, 8 p.m.), with Roselyn Sanchez’ character welcoming more visitors to the strange island.
